Biography
Michelle Silverman, PhD, is a staff psychologist at the McLean Anxiety Mastery Program (MAMP), an intensive outpatient program for youth with primary anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, and related disorders. She specializes in providing evidence-based treatment—including cognitive behavior therapy and exposure and response prevention therapy—to children, adolescents, and young adults.
Dr. Silverman is also involved in the curriculum development and implementation of an education skills group aimed at helping caregivers support children with anxiety. Previously, she worked with the McLean School Consultation Service. Dr. Silverman is passionate about reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions and connecting families to mental health resources in the community.
