Biography
Sinhae Cho, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist at The Pavilion and the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital, and an instructor in psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Her expertise lies in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety disorders. She specializes in providing empirically supported treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, and habit reversal training (HRT).
Additionally, Dr. Cho has completed advanced training through the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. She is a meditation practitioner herself and is dedicated to helping others access mindfulness to cultivate well-being. Her research interests focus on understanding and fostering healthy emotion processes. She is particularly interested in the relationship between mindfulness and emotion regulation, as well as in exploring the potential role of mindfulness and contemplative methods in facilitating emotional well-being.
