Biography
Nora Gerardi, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist with expertise in dialectical behavior therapy. Her clinical specialties include suicide and self-injury, emotion dysregulation, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder. Dr. Gerardi is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™ with significant experience in the training, supervision, and consultation of graduate students and mental health professionals. She has trained clinicians in DBT, developed DBT training programs, and consulted extensively with schools on adapting DBT-informed practices to support student mental health, staff burnout, and system-level change.
Currently, Dr. Gerardi is a staff psychologist in McLean’s School Consultation Service, consulting with schools on the implementation of evidence-based practices. She previously worked in the 3East Outpatient Program. Prior to joining McLean, Dr. Gerardi held leadership roles at Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants in New York, where she was the assistant training director and coordinator of consultation services. Dr. Gerardi is also the director of DBT adherence and training and assistant director of outpatient services at DBT Works.
