Louise M. Russell, BSN, RN

Louise Russell, BSN, RN, joined McLean’s Fernside addiction treatment program in early 2025. She began her nursing career in long-term care as a licensed practical nurse and, in 2020, transitioned to addiction nursing as a registered nurse at a large treatment facility. During her time in addiction services, she advanced into leadership roles including nurse case manager, nurse manager, and nursing director. She also gained valuable experience as a nurse manager in an inpatient mental health hospital.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Russell has been dedicated to supporting and developing the next generation of nurses. She has mentored new staff, served as a preceptor for student nurses, and consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and nursing leadership.
